Ilehra

I must say i bought this app and love it. Keep up the good work. Im going to recommend it for all my friends and students.

Totally worth it

This is a very useful application for me as a Tabla student. It is equally good for use in both practice and concert. I simply love the sound of the harmonium and the flute. This application especially helps me visualize the timeline of the fractional taals as the lehra proceeds with its display of the beat count in progress. The GUI is very simple, intuitive and sophisticated. I love the sound of the tanpura in the background. It sounds very genuine. I like how it auto-adjusts itself to the raga of the lehra being played. With so many taals and multiple lehras per taal, this is really worth the buy. Personally, I highly recommend it to all tabla students.

#1 app for tablas

Normal lehras are so costly! They can range $150-$250, at $14.99 this is a steal! Thank you Prasad for your genius work and thank you for making the lives of many tabla and flute players so much easier. You truly have given us all a gift of immense proportion. My practice is so much more interesting now :) P.S. the addition of the flute and all the taals is absoutely fantastic! Was very pleased to see the new update :)

Junk

I bought and its junk

AMAZING

Didnt know such a thing was possible, extremely useful for tabla students. Lots of taals, great variety of lehras, and most important: great sound (love the new flute!) to inspire tabla players.

My Favorite App

This is an exciting day for me as I have literally been wanting an app like this since day one! Nothing makes for a good focused practice like the use of a lehra. The first time I tried this app out, I ended up practicing for over an hour without even realizing it. iLehra is well thought out yet simple. As much as I love my nagma machine and its Donkey Kong like tone, iLehra has a great sounding harmonium tone. I havent really tried out the violin option yet. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

Excellent App

This is a great app for all tabla players. I plan to use this for live shows as well. The tanpura creates nice ambience. Highly recommended !!! - PJTab ( Prasad Joshi)

Like it

Ive a Lehera at home for my practise, but ever since I bought this one, I dont use my Lehera at all. I like it very much. Good job Prasad!

Superbly crafted

iLehra is easy to use and does its job well. It keeps getting better with each update. Thanks, Prasad, for developing it!

One of the best apps ever!

I would like to thank the developer of this app for creating something so beautiful and elegant. I am a Tabla player and use this app regularly for practice. I just bought a nagma player from India. This app does a better job for less than half the price. The abilitiy to play Santoor is an added advantage. Just plug it into loud speakers and you have an amazing accompaniment to your Tabla riyaaz. A must-have for any Tabla student. Thanks for the app once again!!

Tabla Players Necessity!

The sounds are superb and accurate, and the controls are easy to use. This really helps in keeping up with tabla riyaz. Nice job!

A must have !!

I think this is an excellent practice tool for Tabla players. This has definitely helped me in my Tabla Riyaz. Be careful though to not multitask while the ilehra is running as it hangs the audio of the application. Other than that I have not experienced a single problem with this application. Great job Prasad for creating a pocket size lehra machine.A must have app!!!

Good BUT! ahhh

The santoor sounds good, but the flute and violin not so good, Harmonium is just o.k. WHERE"S THE SITAR and SAROD? A good over-all practice tool though, and a tip, it has a tampura which is good and you can have it play by itself so you dont also need the tampura App. I think the creators of this App. should sample some real instruments, thatd be nice!

Fantastic

Been using this since it came out. Was good but a little rough around the edges initially. It kept getting better with each update. And now I can honestly say this has become a must-have practice tool for me with fantastic features: - Very nice variety of lehras for all taals (this has almost every taal you will ever need), and the developer keeps adding new raags (thanks!) - Multiple instruments just in case I get bored with my favorite Santoor sound - Many precise ways to control the speed including tap-tempo (very innovative) - Love being able to save my usual settings as a preset so I can jump right into it next time - Beautiful tanpura sound which can be used by itself - And finally a tuner so I can tune my tabla, or if Im feeling lazy just tune the app to my tabla :-) This has now become a part of my practice regimen. Good job!

Ilehra

I use this app on a nearly daily basis. Much appreciated.

Great app

This is an indispensable application for anyone practicing tabla. Makes your riyaz more fun. Time to sell my radel nagma box!! Ive been wanting this since day one. Thank you so much for making this!! Thanks for making improvements. Thank you for making this wonderful app !!

Suggestions for improvement

This program is becoming the app of my dreams. Thank you for your continued work and updates. I would like to make a request for more Raag selections for Jhaptaal. Thanks again!

The best

My metronome is gathering dust since I got this app. Tons of taals now! And going up to 400bpm is incredibly helpful. Great tool for chop building, improvising and composing.

Best lehra app, amazing

This app is really nice. You can choose from a variety of raaga and choose speed at suits you. The featu where ti shows the beats in numbers is the best thing that happened to me for learning music. Very good material to choose from and very good and intuitive control mechanism. I would like tothank the developer for developing such an amazing app.

Easy to use and sounds great.

This is a great app. Its one of the main reasons I bought an iPod Touch! Its wonderful to have the tanpura and lehra perfectly tuned to my tabla—practicing just got so much better. The preset screen could be easier to use, but that may be the only flaw.
